When the war between Dornar and Desolas ended, it’s effects were felt across Khorvaire. This new land is infused with traditional DnD settings; however, it has been given an even darker tone than most other worlds in our universe get!
With this one, you have the more traditional elements of magic and adventure. It also includes dark-themed things like robots or skyships which are not standard for a children’s book but may appeal to older readers as well!
The Eberron Campaign Setting Content
Eberron is a setting that uses magic more than other fantasy worlds. This can be seen in the higher-level spells, which are not as common here; however, there still remain many lower-tier abilities for players to discover and use throughout their adventure.
The high-speed transportation system Known as “magical lanterns” are found throughout cities, providing easy access to lower-level magical spells. Similarly, there’s a rail powered by magic that allows travelers across vast distances in an instant!
Good vs. Evil
The struggle between good vs evil is not so clear-cut in this setting since both races are encouraged to mix it up. Even when facing a familiar foe, the forces of light will temporarily unite with those from other worlds for a common cause against them; though sometimes these partnerships may be more tenuous than they seem – as seen by the enemy of my enemy anecdotes or scenarios where there’s been some crossover between shades (grey).
The evil creatures will attempt to gather intelligence by infiltration, while the good ones do so through surveillance.
This is a great way for wizards and witches who do not want to be tied down by tradition or religion. The characters can still cast spells without worrying about whatever might happen if they were aligned with certain gods, but it’s also possible (and common) that people just use this freedom as an opportunity to escape from constraints altogether!
In this game, you have the option to be an artificer or mage right. The difference is that one has low-level spells while another can craft items with magic in them without sacrificing any levels- which means they’re really powerful!
The Eberron setting is one of my favorite settings because it has so many different things to do in between playing characters.
One thing that’s really cool about this fantasy world are the feats, which give you extra action points and allow rolling an eight-sided die instead of just six with two allocated move spaces (or whatever other number they might be using). Also, read the 9 best Textsheet Alternatives from here.
